Going Ape at Emack & Bolios

Got a chance to meet Eddy yesterday. I saw him through the window at Emack & Bolios, 2 Belgrade Ave. and he looked so comfortable sitting amongst the pillows on the couch. Although I thought it a bit unusual that an ape was hanging out - I figured oh well this is Roslindale, so close to Franklin Park Zoo!

Turns out that Eddy has taken residence because he found out that Emack & Bolio's now serve the freshest and most delicious sandwhiches around. The sandwhiches are made to order and come with a wide choice of bread or rolls, extras and a side. Check it out. 617-323-3323

Love at Bangkok Cafe

Owner Raungdet Titisuttikul ("Danny") wants to add some love to your life. During February Bangkok Cafe will feature a group exhibit by local artists with the theme "Love" and the restaurant will also offer a special Valentine menu: Jumbo Shrimp and filet of Mahi-Mahi lovingly paired together in a delicious home-made Thai curry sauce, and served over a medley of fresh vegetables, with steamed Jasmine white rice on the side $16.95. Dandelions Flower Shop

Time to visit the new and expanded Dandelions Flower Shop. Now located on 765 South Street next to Birch Home and Garden, owner Karen Power has added new merchandise. Say Goodbye!

The long abandoned Ashmont Discount building on Washington Street (next to Dunkin Donuts) is slated for demolition within the next month. In it's place will be a brand new building built and occupied by a full service Staples.
