The wonderful volunteers of Roslindale Green and Clean are at it again. On Saturday May 31, 2008 they planted a beautiful array of flowers and trees in Alexander the Great Park in Roslindale Village (at the corner of Belgrade Avenue and Roberts Street across from St. Nectarios Church). Many thanks to this wonderful organization that has made the public areas in the business district a lush tapestry of color and greenery. The organization can always use volunteers to help with the many tasks of weeding and watering the plantings thoughout the district. Visit the web site for more information

Tony's Market
He must be doing something right! Maybe it is the homemade sausage or the quality meats and Italian cold cuts that have kept Tony's market a favorite for shoppers. This is an old time butcher shop with personal attention that you won't find anywhere else.
